Creating Energy Options (CEO) Program

Campus Energy Research Seed Funding

Innovation in science and engineering has been a dominant force for economic development during the past century. The transformation of technology creation into real world economic prosperity provides tangible benefits throughout the world. To carry out the Georgia Tech mission, it is essential that our faculty leads the way in developing near term energy solutions to address critical economic, environmental, and societal challenges. For this reason, the Creating Energy Options Program funds will focus on those technologies and ideas that have the potential to be commercialized or to streamline the processes involved in the implementation of innovative energy options within five years. Proposal submissions will be accepted from April 20, 2011 through May 20, 2011. Funding will be announced on the SEI website and via e-mail to recipients by July, 2011.
